Chill and Relax

Found a new place for food and had wanted to try out. And since Bei was back, we went ahead. Chillax Cafe and Massage at Serangoon Gardens. It's located in a nice corner where Liquid Kitchen used to be.

Quite an old school set up with wooden chairs and tables, old school tiles, Lao Fu Zi comics and bottles fizzy drinks.

The truffle fries was one of the signature sides. Not bad, but there could be more truffles.

They had all-day breakfast. I went for The Ultimate. The sausage and bacon was piping hot when served. But that's it. The eggs, mushrooms and baked beans were just lukewarm. Not too good, considering I had to wait 30+ minutes for it. Boss said eggs were prepared fresh hence the long wait. One would expect to receive hot eggs.

Bei had the Seafood Aglio Olio. Not enough garlic. Nuff said. Bei's opinion: the worst Aglio Olio she's had. Hahaha.

Despite all these we both still felt that taste for The Ultimate was there, just needs to be hot when served. Overall score: 6.5/10. Would be back to try other stuff.

Oh forgot to add that they have massage service on level 2!
