beating and cheating

the last day of feburary see two significant incident happened in the hotel today.

first, three vietnamese guy started throwing bricks at one of our guests. poor guy. the victim himself was a vietnamese, but is now a australian citizen. i've got no idea why the three crazy vietnamese men attacked him. it happened the moment he left the hotel, right at the entrance. and it was me who did the check-in for him. pretty nice and friendly person. so, we were speculating the reasons behind the attack. some of them said because the three guys was robbing him. throw bricks to rob?? another said because he was vietnamese yet have an ang moh wife. i think this is a valid reason. vietnamese people are damn pro vietnamese. like the other day when i went to perfume pagoda, i was the only foreigner amongst my colleagues. it was easy to recognized as i speak no vietnamese. so the people there actually went up to my colleagues and told them to get as much money from me as possible because i aint one of them. what the hell man. and there was also this case when i have one of my vietnamese roommate help translate between me and my ex-landlady, the landlady's husband went crazy. shouting at my roommate, scolding her for helping a foreigner cheat them. crazy vietnamese old man. anyway, the guy was ok in the end with only a few cuts and bruises.

then, another vietnamese guy tried to cheat money from a french couple. he told the french couple he was the tour guide they were waiting for. little did he know, they had already booked a tour with the hotel which includes a tourguide and a private car. the french couple believed him and went along with him, only to find him leading them to a taxi. haha lucky the french couple were smart. came to the desk and complain. and so i went around looking for the real tour guide to find him sitting at the tour desk waiting. hah!

anyway, i'm into the last month of my intern le. i'm gonna talk to my boss and hope that i can go to some other department for the remaining periods. maybe the club. yeah! haha.

alright. gotta get started on my assignments. damn!!
