it is gonna be only martin, naoka and me left in the trainee house. goodbye karren. and so, the peeps at the club threw her a farewell party.

just in case you are wondering, karren is the lady in white on the far right.

this was the appetizer. some kind of vietnamese salad i suppose. green vegs, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, beef slices and nuts. it was spicy. slurps.

this was my favorite. deep fried vietnamese spring rolls. it was even better than the ones i eat in the hotel's vietnamese restaurant.

and of course, there is the usual hotpot. the vietnamese do not call it steamboat. the soup was damn good. boiled with herbs and chicken, giving it a very strong sweet taste.

and look what i found in the hotpot. it is damn big!!! hahaha...

today was karren's last day of work and she wanted to take a few pictures of the hotel rooms before she leaves. so we went to a few rooms. we took quite a lot of pictures but yea i am lazy to upload everything here. anyway the picture above is the queen bed in the imperial suite. the biggest suite in the hotel.

and this is my favorite room. haha. room 228, the graham greene suite. i simply love the bed.

mini johnnie walker and chivas in plastic bottles. yeah, you did not read it wrongly. i repeat, plastic bottles. hahaha. i could not believe it myself. way too cheapo for a five star luxury hotel. oh, there was a mini grey goose too. but i forgot to take a picture of it. maybe the next time.
