virgin experience

just got back from nlb.
watched the soldier & his virtuous wife at the drama center.
omg, it is damn hilarious.


the play talks about a man who just got married to a fine woman. The day after the marriage, the man is being called away to join the army, leaving behind the wife and his mother. the story moves very fast and then 10 years past. the father of the bride sold her to the local tyrant, a rich man, who happened to be the sedan bearer from 10 years back. haha. being a virtuous women, the bride refuse to marry the tyrant, still waiting for the return of her husband. the man becomes an official and returns to his home town. on his way back, he past by a mulberry orchard and flirt with a beautiful silkworm farmer, which happened to be his wife. 10 years apart, they couldn't recognize each other. haha. the story continues to tell how the tyrant and the man fight for the woman.


anyway, it was my virgin experience at a chinese play. and it was fun. haha. and i must say i was damn lucky. i am seated on the third row from the front, third seat on the right side (第三排, 第三位). during the play, i was referred to many times as the dog (那只哈巴狗). man, suayness maximus right. but it was a blessing in dusguise. at the end of the show, there was a lucky draw and two lucky winners won a mp3 player. then they announced that a third mp3 would be given out. "这第三个MP3要送给坐在第三排第三位的人. 为了谢谢他做了一个晚上的狗." and thats me!!! hahaha...


the play runs till 20 april. i suppose there are still tickets available. go watch it!!!
